In spite of the pandemic and to support people and communities devastated by it, Hockey Helps Inc. is hosting its 7th Annual 24 Hours of Hockey Marathon — a fundraising event held on Long Island at Dix Hills Ice Rink on Labor Day weekend each year.
Since its inception, the Marathon has raised approximately $3 million for local charities which embody the Hockey Helps mission “to help individuals struggling with addiction, mental illness, and cancer, and to provide support for children and youth facing economic disadvantages, illness, or related hardships.”
We will be working to identify and support additional charities and families directly impacted by the issues we have been facing over the last several months.
PwC is the driving force behind this event, and with the help of former NHL players such as Adam Graves, Stephane Matteau, Arron Asham, Benoit Hogue, Brian Mullen, Colton Orr and others, 2020 promises to bring another amazing event*!
We thank you for your continued support!
*Subject to formal town approval - stay tuned for updates
